In order to facilitate access to cultural content by the population in the Republic of Serbia and abroad, having in mind, in particular, the obstruction of the cultural institutions’ program activities, the Ministry of Culture and Information has recommended to cultural institutions to enable the population with the maximum availability of digital content in the field of culture.

The measure was designed to overcome the social situation resulting from the coronavirus epidemic as painlessly as possible, and is primarily aimed at those in any type of isolation and citizens who respect the measure of staying home.

The Ministry of Culture and Information has established a Cultural Heritage Browser, which ensures the availability of information on the cultural heritage of the Republic of Serbia, which is stored in libraries, archives, museums, galleries, institutes for the protection of monuments and other cultural entities. The aim of the Browser is to encourage learning and awareness of the cultural heritage. The Browser is available in Serbian and English and can be accessed via the link:
